The Abilene Philharmonic Orchestra is made up of a diverse group
of professional musicians from all over the state of Texas
providing world-class concerts for our community.
A full symphony youth orchestra that provides a unique opportunity for the most serious and talented young musicians in the Big Country to perform advanced repertoire that will challenge and inspire.
The Abilene Philharmonic Guild supports the APO through volunteering, fundraising, and friend-raising. This special group meets monthly and also coordinates the Belle and Beau usher program
Founded by Conductor Laureate, George Yeager, the Abilene Philharmonic Foundation oversees and manages all endowment funds that ensure the future financial well-being of Abilene’s professional orchestra.

The Abilene Philharmonic Guild was founded in 1954 in an effort to support the Abilene Philharmonic through volunteering, fundraising, and friend-raising. The Guild is most notably responsible for the Belle and Beau usher program and the Annual Gala fundraiser.
